Ida Hansen Eldøen is an award-winning Norwegian writer and director. She studied at Nordland College of Art and Film and has a master’s degree in film studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She is known for her queer comedies and her commitment to lesbian representation on film. Her short films have been screened at several international film festivals and have received great reviews and lots of laughter. 

Ida received the city artist grant from Trondheim municipality in 2023.
